We have been very busy with our learning this week. In Maths, we have been sorting, grouping and making 10 in different ways using a 10's frame. We have been learning to problem solve and explain our answers through reasoning. 

In English, we have been learning the story of 'Bloom'. The children made pictures for our class flower and said nice things to it to help it to bloom. 

In Art, we studied the work of Vincent van Gogh and created some flower pictures. We practised different sketching techniques and shading. 

The Year 1 teachers have been really impressed with the start you have had.
